The engine is a real deal Boss 302 (Replacement 71 Boss Block) and all OEM 69 Parts, heads crank, rods, intake manifold, Crower Solid Cam. The1969 Boss 302 was a special model Mustang developed by Ford for racing homologation in the SCAA race series. As a result, 1,628 Boss 302 Mustangs were built in 1969 and sold to customers for road use. What made the Boss unique was its engine setup, essentially it was a 302 Windsor fitted with Cleveland heads to allow it for flow better.
