Driving without the brake lights working is just as unsafe as if your Punto’s brake lights were stuck on. 1. Check the Fuse. If none of the brake lights are working, we are going to follow the circuit from the fuse box back to the brake pedal. At some point the power is not getting from point A to point B.
Hello, I have a 2007 Fiat Punto 1.9 130bhp diesel. The boot on the car does not open, when I press the boot button whether on the key or inside the car, it just makes a clicking noise from the glovebox and also makes the hazards flash. I placed the car on diagnostics to see what the problem was SOURCE: oil pan replacement on fiat punto. this is not a big job - infact pretty straight forward -word of warning thou do not buy the replacement pan from e-bay - only tip i can give is once removed leave it standing for 24hours so all access oil is drained - makes it easier to fit new one also a cleaner job and less likely to leak - andy Assumed it was one of the door switches. Unplugged both of them and light stop on. Checked out wiring by fuse box. Looks like it's had an after market alarm fitted but not sure. Found the multiplug to the bottom left of the fuse box. Removed wires from one by one until the light went off. Assumed it would be green and white as per the wiring The best way is to get a second hand dash. There are plenty on ebay that can be had for around £40-£50. Fitting the dash is very straight forward. NOTE, you need to get a dash thats mileage is LESS than your original miliage, as the miliage can ONLY be turned FORWARDS and not backwards. So if your punto has done say 30k miles, you need a dash DG4lrf.
