From what I understand, the oil pump failures are due to the oil pumps seizing up because the oil pickup screen gets plugged with sludge because of not changing the oil at the correct intervals. Once the pump seizes up, the oil pump drive belt destroys itself. If the oil pump belt tensioner fails, that will cause the same issue as well.I’m wearing a GoPro chest mount.
