I'm 100% sure the timing is spot on, cams locked and 1 & 2 level, starts every time. Only problem is engine light keeps coming back on after the third time of starting with cam sensor code. I would like to check the replacement sensors I picked up, can anyone point me in the direction of the correct resistance for both the cam and crank sensor.
Hello, we meet againAnother cambelt video for you guys and gals!Today its on a Ford / Fiat, Ka / Punto 1.2-1.4 petrol (same engine)Enjoy!All video / imag Hello mate, that sounds a bit like a mk2 engine, its not a rocker cover but a cam housing, be careful taking the belt off as you need to lock up the cams first with the correct tools. trust me i've fraked that up myself and getting the timing right afterwards is a pain, no timing marks and its not set at TDC but with all 4 pistons at mid point for which you need more special tools

The crank mark needs to line up with the ignition timing mark. Where are timing marks for 2.2 chev s10? where are the timing gear marks on a 1997 chev s10 2.2 located

Mar 30, 2012. #2. HI,if you check the "guides" section here,there is an article about how to change the cambelt/tensioner on an 8 valve model. If your car is 16 valve model you have to be careful to get timing correct,because if its not the piston will hit the valves. The 8 valve engine is non interference,so lets say if the cambelt snappes

hi i have a punto mk1 1.2 16v the temperature seems to stay close to half way whether out on open road or stuck in traffic. i thought that they should be near quarter mark on the open road and rise when in traffic :confused: i replaced the thermostate as was stuck open wasnt heating up and 1ROV5.
