The most powerful and “savage” are turbocharged engines with the DOHC MPI 16 valve head. These engines had the compression ratio reduced to 8.5:1, a Mitsubishi TD04L-13G-5 turbocharger, and the power of 194 HP at 6,000 rpm, the torque of 270 Nm at 3,000 rpm. These engines are known as 4G93T Gen 1.
1. D16A1 - the first engine, 16-valve DOHC head, 30 mm intake valves, 27 mm - exhaust, compression ratio is 9.3, the power of 115 hp. From 1988 the engine got new piston, the compression ratio was increased to 9.5 and power grown to 120 hp. The production began in 1986 for Acura Integra on the US market and stopped in 1989. 2.

However, they still aren't very similar other than they both have 4 cylinders. The bore and stroke of each is listed below: 2.0L Beta: 82.0 X 93.5. 4G63: 85.0 x 88.0.

The DOHC 16v engine has 4 valves per cylinder, totaling 16 valves. It differs from the SOHC, which has only one camshaft, by having two camshafts. If you have an option to choose between DOHC and SOHC, I would recommend you go for a DOHC based on my experience with a 2018 Hyundai with 2.0L l4 DOHC 16-valve.
